The Sombhani Group Headquarters project is a landmark development that will deliver a permanent, high-specification administrative and operational facility in the heart of Alrode, one of South Africa's most established industrial zones. With an integrated water security system already operational, this project guarantees uninterrupted business continuity regardless of municipal supply conditions.

Scope of Works – Already Completed

• 600,000 Litre Reservoir: Fully installed and integrated into the site's water network, providing bulk storage capacity equivalent to weeks of normal consumption.
• 8 x 10,000 Litre Jojo Tanks with Pumps: A battery of eight high‑capacity Jojo tanks, each connected to dedicated pump systems, is fully installed and functional. This distributed storage array provides modular, secure water supply to every corner of the site.

Scope of Works – In Progress / Planned

• The Office Building: A modern, multi‑functional head office designed to accommodate executive management, operations teams, and administrative support under one roof. The building will feature open‑plan workspaces, private offices, boardrooms, a reception area, a staff canteen, and integrated IT infrastructure. Construction is currently in progress, with completion targeted within the 24‑month programme.

Current Status & Next Steps

The water infrastructure (600kL reservoir and 8 x 10,000L Jojo tanks with pumps) is fully operational. Office building construction is underway, with structural works progressing according to the 24‑month programme. Final architectural finishes and IT infrastructure installation will follow in subsequent phases.
